7. What's Brewing in Aurobindo / Dualist Inquiry @ BandStand, Aurobindo Market, New Delhi

The emergence of Sahej Bakshi aka Dualist Inquiry dovetailed with the beginnings of indie or alternative electronica in the country at the start of this decade. The Delhi-based producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist has consistently delivered genre-defying records that have left an indelible mark on the electronica landscape. His distinct guitar-driven sound, honed at the prestigious Thornton School of Music, LA, is one of the few singular sounds in the country today, one that stands out from the ever-growing pervasiveness of commercial electronic music. Releases like his critically acclaimed debut Doppelganger LP (2013) and the Natural Disasters EP (2014) have cemented his place as one of India’s truly original songwriters. He released 'Dreamcatcher' last September , being his most ambitious work so far and now Bandstand with WMS and Budweiser are bringing him in this saturday night! Mark your calendars!
